This week on PEPR we hear two songs from different sides of the planet earth planet rap - Australia and Sweden. Indigenous emcee Birdz from Australia was recently performing in the Sydney Opera House together with Bad Apples Record crew which is lead by Briggs. Birdz has his latest EP “The Place of Dreams” out now and from that we hear a powerful song “On the Run”. On PEPR also music by Swedish emcee and one of the usual suspects of PEPR, Promoe. His song “Dawgmatics” is from his latest album “The Art of Losing”.
Promoe - Dawgmatics (Sweden)
Birdz - On the Run (Australia)
The track Smoke is a result of two heavy hitting and hard working individuals in the hip hop circles in Cape Town decide to meet and work on something. Two different ends of Cape Town came together and created this heavy hitting, catching tune. Smoke produced by DJ Azuhl and mixed and mastered by D Eyzho's Beats. The video is shot by Cadenza also from Cape Town, he brought together the visuals of this classic.
